The products stored in our logistics center have undergone rigorous quality inspections and thorough manufacturing processes, ensuring they are in perfect condition. In order to prevent any possible compromise of their quality and safety, we are committed to thorough product management at every phase, from storage and distribution to activities aimed at retail stores.
In order to maintain the quality of the products, management is thoroughly enforced even within the warehouse.
Products manufactured in factories are moved to the warehouse of the logistics center before being distributed nationwide. At Nippon Kampo Pharmaceuticals, the state of goods arriving in the warehouse is called "arrival", and when entered into the sales management system, it becomes "stocked". In order to prevent wrong shipments, we are working to ensure that goods can only be shipped once they have been checked by both human eyes and the system. In addition, when shipping, we perform a triple check: confirmation by the person who picked the goods, confirmation by the system, and finally, confirmation by the person who affixes the shipping label.
We pay careful attention to management within the warehouse to ensure that the quality of products manufactured with safety and peace of mind at the factory is not compromised. For example, in preparation for events like earthquakes, we take measures such as wrapping the stacked cardboard boxes in plastic wrap to improve stability and prevent them from collapsing. Under the notion that "cardboard is also part of the product", in some cases, we further cover them with cardboard to prevent sunburn. At the same time, we keep the warehouse clean by regular cleaning to prevent the occurrence and intrusion of insects.
A delivery system that safely and securely delivers products to store shelves.
As part of our sales management system, we also practice traceability. In the unlikely event that a problem arises with a certain lot, it is possible to trace where and through what route the products of that lot were distributed.
There are various methods of delivery to stores and wholesalers, such as pallet transportation and JR containers, with the cooperation of various transport companies. However, we adopt charter vehicles as much as possible when conditions permit. In order to minimize human errors during delivery, it is crucial to minimize the number of relay points where human intervention is required, such as logistics centers of transport companies. With the cooperation of reliable transport companies, we thoroughly manage our vehicles and actively utilize charter vehicles that can deliver directly to the delivery destination.
Product manufacturing schedule management for stable supply.
As the point of contact for product supply, the sales department also supports logistics. We are working on a project to prevent stockouts by setting up a planned production schedule using the POS system, so that products do not run out from the store shelves.
Visiting stores nationwide to provide accurate product information.
Promotion activities to accurately convey product information to the person in charge of each store that actually interacts with customers are also important initiatives. Our employees visit stores all over the country, from Hokkaido in the north to Okinawa in the south, to provide various information about the wide range of products from Japan Kampo Pharmaceuticals.
Our staff involved in product development, manufacturing, quality inspection, and distribution are devoted to delivering our own products to wholesale and retail stores nationwide. We aim to convey our commitment to the product, its quality, and the superiority of its evidence, and hope to contribute to our customers spending "every day healthy and youthful".
We offer a wide variety of beauty, diet, and health food products that can be enjoyed by everyone, from children to the elderly.
Through our products, we will sincerely work to bring a smile to everyone's face. That is our mission in sales.
We can analyze the category and segment of our clients based on the actual situation of the retail stores, market trends, POS data, and IDPOS. Not only do we introduce our own products, but we also enhance total proposals using post-introduction sales status (POS analysis) and IDPOS.
Although it is still developing, our sales team travels from Hokkaido to Okinawa in Japan, maximizing the use of our data to create better proposals and significance. It's not just about what is instructed in which format, but also where to deploy in the sales floor can bring meaningful results. Recently, the number of people overseas who are seeking Japanese quality products has increased, and we are also selling in various countries around the world.
